A burner that clicks but does not light needs a dry igniter and a clean cap. An oven that heats unevenly points to a sensor or element. Dishwasher

What this means: stop and call
- A burning smell that continues after you switch the appliance off.
- A breaker that trips again as soon as you reset it.
- Water near any electrical part.
In those cases switch off at the breaker, do not keep testing, and book a visit.
